A semi-autobiographical graphic novel about not making it in life.

In the late seventies, Joyce McKinney was one of the most famous women in Britain. She was on the front page of every newspaper. She was invited to parties, premieres, celebrity events - a true tabloid queen.

But her sole claim to fame was that she’d been arrested for kidnapping and raping her Mormon missionary ex-boyfriend. So she went on the run.

After 30 years in hiding she tells her story to an aspiring filmmaker. One last shot to get past all of the tabloid nonsense, the Mormon conspiracies, and the fickle court of public opinion, and reveal the tragic story of forbidden love.

And it’s all true.

Isn’t it?
